Gujarat New Recruitment Rule 2023: Class-3 examination has come out in two groups, recently important news has come out, the rules of various government recruitment examinations conducted by the state  of Gujarat have been changed, this change is announced for class 3 examination. This change has been announced by the board through a notification. The Gujarat government has made a major change in the recruitment of class 3.   According to the circular issued on May 18, the Gujarat government has issued new rules for government recruitment.

  • Prelim Paper will be of 100 marks of 1 hour in which 70 marks will be in Maths and General Intelligence and 30 marks (15+15) in Gujarati and English.
  • Qualifying standard of Min 40 percent has been kept.
  • 7 times will be called for the main exam.
  • Final selection is based on main exam.

1. If you want to take class 3 job in collector's office then you have to give main exam like GPSC. Main Exam of 350 Marks.

  • Syllabus is also a sat copy of GPSC.
  • Total three main examination papers, 3 hours for each :
  • Gujarati 100 Marks
  • English 100 Marks
  • General Studies 150 marks

2. For offices other than Collector

There will be only one MCQ based paper of 200 marks, 2 hours of mains examination.

1. Now class 3 will be considered in 2 ways upper class 3 and lower class 3...

2. If it comes to upper class then the first preliminary exam will be conducted which will be of 100 marks and only one hour will be given.


  • Candidates of any category have to score at least 40 marks in this preliminary examination.
  • In the preliminary exam, Rijnig and Maths 40 marks, Aptitude 30 marks, General 15 marks and Gujarati 15 marks.
  • After passing this the main exam will come in which dyso and sti (like gpsc) 3 papers of 3 hours duration will be written.
  • In this paper first Gujarati language which will have letter, essay and everything will be of 100 marks
  • Second english in which also writing of 100 marks will come like gpsc
  • And the third paper will be of 150 marks of gs and it will have questions from all subjects like history, heritage, constitution, economy, science and technology and public administration.
  • The marks of the main exam will be seen in the final selection….
  • 3. If lower class 3 is talked about then there will be no main exam
  • In lower class 3 there will be a paper of 200 marks for 2 hours…
  • In which there will be a paper of 200 marks in which 20 marks will be given in Gujarati 20, Constitution, Public Administration, RTI, CPS, PCA 30 marks, Economy, Science and Technology, Environment 30 marks, Current Affairs 30 marks and Mathematics and Reignig 40 marks...
  • No computer test will be conducted in any class 3
  • mcq will also come with gpsc level statement and also mains exam.

The General Administration Department Has Taken A Big Decision Regarding The Examination Of Government Recruitment In The State Of Gujarat According To Which The Main Examination Of Class-3 Will Be Taken In Two Groups In Which The Examination Will Be Held In Two Phases The Preliminary Examination And The Main Examination.

It is important that

the rules have been changed for the examination of Junior Clerk, Senior Clerk, Office Assistant and Head Clerk. On this side, the examination of all the four cadres will now be conducted jointly. It is worth noting that  now candidates will be appointed on the basis of final merit. In this entire matter, the General Administration Department of the State of Gujarat had issued a notification.  Changes in

So far, direct candidates were recruited or selected by the board especially in the examination. The examination was taken by the board through OMR method. Then the merit was announced and then selected. Now all these processes have been done after the process and new rules have been imposed.

According to the notification of the General Administration Department,  now no waiting list will be announced in the class-3 examination, the structure of the two-tier examination for recruitment has been announced.

 In the new rule, the waiting list will no longer be announced and the class 3 examination will be held in two phases, the first lapriksha and the second main examination will be held in two phases, after which the candidate will be selected and direct recruitment will not be done as before.
