Meri Mati Mera Desh Campaign: Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign will be launched this year before Independence Day in honor of martyrs. The expedition will reach the capital of the country by carrying soil in 7500 urns from all corners of the country.

In the Man Ki Baat program broadcast on Akashvani today, the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said under this campaign that the Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign will be launched in honor of the martyrs this year before the Independence Day.

The Prime Minister appealed to everyone to upload a selfie taking the oath with clay in their hands on yuvaa.gov.in He said that the Tricolor campaign was launched across the country on Independence Day last year. Tricolors should be hoisted in every house this year too so that people can remember their duties, value of freedom and countless sacrifices made for the freedom of the country with these efforts.

Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan will soon be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to honor our martyrs as well as remember them. Under this campaign, various programs will also be organized in the memory of the martyrs across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his speech that the 'Meri Mati Mera Desh' campaign will be launched soon before the Independence Day to honor the martyred men and women.

Addressing the nation in his Mann Ki Baat program on All India Radio, Prime Minister Modi said that amid the celebrations of Amrit Mohotsav, several programs will be organized across the country to commemorate the martyrs. Special inscriptions will also be installed in lakhs of gram panchayats, he added. Further, the Prime Minister said, 'Amrit Kalash Yatra' will be organized across the country under Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan. This 'Amrit Kalash Yatra' will reach the national capital by carrying soil in 7500 kalashes from all corners of the country. Plants will also be brought from different parts of the country during this yatra.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi further said that 'Amrit Vatika' will be built near the National War Memorial and will be made by mixing soil and saplings in 7500 furnaces. He said that this 'Amrit Vatika' will become a grand symbol of 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat'. He added that by participating in the 'Meri Mati Mera Desh' campaign, the nation will also take an oath to fulfill the 'Five Resolutions' or 'Panch Prana' for the next 25 years of Amrit Kal.

In this event, a collective pledge will be taken by the villagers at the Gram Panchayat level for the unity and integrity of the nation by holding a handful of clay or a clay lamp.

Under this program 'Vasudha Vandan', 75 saplings will be planted and raised in each village panchayat.

Under the Veeron Vandan programme, as per local traditions and customs, felicitations will be held for the families of “heroes” i.e. freedom fighters/defense personnel/personnel of state and central police forces who have made sacrifices/contributions for the country. On the day of the program at the village level, the national flag will be hoisted and the national anthem will also be sung.

State spokesperson Minister Rishikesh Patel gave further details and said that soil collection by villagers in Mitti Yatras from Gram Panchayat to Taluka and capital Delhi, mud collection at Taluka level in mud kalash of all gram panchayats will be taken by the youth to the designated place in Delhi. Where the final program will be held on August 30 in the presence of dignitaries at Kartavya Path, New Delhi Delhi.

Let us tell you that this year, the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', which is being held under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi, is a commemorative celebration of 75 years of India's independence. The Azadi Ka Amrit Festival officially started on March 12, 2021 which will be held on the next date. To be completed by 30 August 2023.
